1920's kitchen remodel - St. Paul, MN
designing & remodeling kitchens in the St. Paul, MN area for over 10 years
Our clients had one of those small St. Paul, MN kitchens, We creatively designed the space to maximize the room we had to work with. We moved the fridge to the hall closet( not normally something we like to do, but space is a premium), and that allowed us to add a pantry where the fridge had stuck out into the room. When designing small kitchens, sometimes you have no choice but to have some give and take to get a kitchen that works best for you. Our clients Carrie and Rob were wonderful to work with and understood all the design challenges we had to incorporate into their kitchen remodel. In the end we hit all of the project goals, great new updated look, more countertop space, more storage (taller cabinets, design & pantry), and more room in the kitchen. We used a real sliced stone for the back splash, Corian for the countertops, Stainless steel appliances, under mount sink, bamboo hardwood floor and custom cabinets with the edges sanded thru for a “new worn look”. Carrie and Rob have done a few projects with in over the years and we are blessed to have gotten to know them, twin boys and Tucker(dog).
