Attics to Basements plays a strong active role in the communities we serve. Our community means a lot to us, which is why we volunteer and donate to things that impact those around us. Our community outreach includes raising money, donating time and money to our local charities which include food shelves, meals on wheels, coaching our youth in sports, organizing community events and volunteer work thru our churches.

About David Vinje

Owner – Project manager and designer

David has 25 years of experience with home remodeling. He graduated with a carpentry diploma and continued his education in business courses through the community college. Over the years, he has completed continuing education classes and gained certifications including NARI Master Certified Remodeler (MCR), Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), NARI Certified Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeler (CKBR), and EPA renovator.

David’s passion for exceptional customer service led him to start Attics to Basements in 2006. During David’s limited personal time, he enjoys fishing, hunting and mastering his craft Jiu Jitsu- Black Belt under McCune’s Mixed Martial Arts.

We were Proud to have received the Small Business of the Year from the Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce. David was also Named top 40 under 40 by Professional Remodeler Magazine and to be a finalist for the 2023 BBB Torch Award.

About Jesse Krech

Design Director

Jesse has 24 years of experience in designing and actively working with construction projects. Jesse brings a unique skill set to the company. He has a great mind for design and the know how to make the project come together perfectly for the customer. He has been with Attics to Basements for almost 10 years.

Jesse graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BA degree in Interior Design., which ultimately lead him to the love of helping people with their home remodeling projects design and function. Jesse also is a NARI Certified Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeler as well as being a NARI Certified Project Manager.

Jesse loves to do woodworking and build furniture with his spare time and would love to visit every country in the world someday.

He is well-versed in interpreting blueprints and construction drawings, and has a solid foundation in managing construction projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. With a diverse background in residential, commercial, and industrial construction, Tony has gained a wealth of experience in handling projects of different scales and complexities. He has a reputation for delivering projects on time and within budget, while maintaining open communication and strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams. Tony is known for his exceptional leadership skills, motivating and mentoring teams to achieve project objectives with a collaborative approach. He is also committed to staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure he brings the most current expertise to every project he undertakes.
